To Begin: Mexican sports reporter Inez Sainz claims she was sexually harassed while covering the Jets locker room. Much media attention follows.
Next: A former Jets hostess, Jenn Sterger, claims that hall-of-fame-bound QB Brett Favre sent her suggestive voice-mails, text messages, and *ahem* lewd photographs during his brief stint with the club in 2008.
Continuing: Jets strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi, once well respected around the league, is caught on film sticking his knee out to trip Nolan Carrol, a Miami Dolphins special team player, as he is gunning down the field during a kickoff. It is later revealed that he regularly instructed players to form walls along the side-line during play as a way to disrupts opposing players. The irony of this is that the strength and conditioning coach is usually also the "get back coach." In other words, when players on the sideline are getting too close to the action, it's coach Alosi's job to yell "get back!" He is suspended for the remainder of the season, fined $25 thousand and may be fired.
And Now: The aforementioned video allegedly featuring Rex and Michelle Ryan is the foot-fetish-frosting on a cake made of sleaze. With one scandal after another, the Jets organization has everyone in the country asking the same question: What the hell is wrong with New York? On a personal aside, I'm not offended. I think it's all very humorous. Some good stuff. Keep it up New York, and congratulations on being the Daily Do'h! Award Winner.
