Injury Update

LT Chad Clifton suffered a severe hamstring injury in Sunday's victory in Atlanta. He was replaced by Marshall Newhouse, who shifted from RT and was replaced by rookie Derek Sherrod. On Monday, head coach Mike McCarthy said it would take "a number of weeks" for team doctors to get a handle on the injury. Without going into much more detail, McCarthy said the tackle's leg had a lot of swelling and bleeding, so the severity of the injury is currently impossible to know.

The team announced today that injured S Nick Collins has been placed on IR. Taking his spot on the 53 man roster is T/G Ray Dominguez, signed from the practice squad. Dominguez will bolster an offensive line depth chart that is now missing two starters.

One of those starters is Bryan Bulaga, who has been nursing a sprained knee. The tackle saw his first action in a few weeks today on the practice field. He was in a knee brace and the coach said he looked "decent" but the tape will be telling. We'll know more on his gameday status later in the week.
