In yet another game decided by 4 points or less, Green Bay came up empty at the hands of the New England Patriots. A game review is pending, but let's get the gist:
The Packers are now 8-6.
After losses by the Giants and the Buccaneers, Green Bay's playoff hopes are still alive.
Next week, the Packers play the Giants - a huge game that could have tie-breaking implications in the wildcard race.
QB Matt Flynn did an admirable job filling in for a concussed Aaron Rodgers, throwing his first NFL touchdown and a few extra just for good measure.
Green Bay's defense didn't break, but they sure got bent out of shape.
Ultimately, the special teams will get the most blame. Despite his best efforts, coach McCarthy's special teams unit continues to be a thorn in his side.
More in-depth thoughts to come. For now, it's off to the rat race. Enjoy Monday Night Football tonight! It's going to get sloppy.
